How ContractMatch Works

From setup to winning — here's how AI-powered contract matching saves you hours every day.

1

Tell us what you do

Describe your company in a few sentences, paste your website URL, or upload capability statements and past performance documents. Any one of these is enough to get started.

Our AI reads your inputs and builds a capability profile — the skills, domains, and experience areas that define what you do.

What gets analyzed: company descriptions, websites, capability statements, resumes, past performance documents, and more.
2

We read every contract notice

Every day, federal and state governments post thousands of contract opportunities. Our system monitors announcements and extracts data for each notice:

  • What skills and work areas the contract requires
  • Eligibility requirements — set-asides, clearances, location
  • Budget, timeline, and deadline information
  • and more...
3

AI matches and scores each opportunity

Each notice is scored against your capability profile in two passes:

Eligibility filter

Contracts you can't bid on are removed — wrong set-aside, insufficient clearance, outside your service area.

Capability scoring

Remaining notices are scored by how well your capabilities cover what the contract needs. Higher scores mean better fit.

We’ve tested over a dozen AI models to find the ones that produce the most accurate matches for government contracting — and we keep testing as new models become available. The result: a ranked inbox of opportunities, best matches first.

4

You triage and pursue

Your daily inbox shows matched contracts with scores, structured breakdowns, and the reasons each one matched. From there:

  • Save or dismiss opportunities with a single tap
  • Search and filter by keyword, score, deadline, or notice type
  • Track your pipeline in kanban columns from qualification to award
  • Collaborate with your team — comments, activity feed, and shared access
